Quality Auditing

During my employment as Operations Manager for a UK based security company, the business made a decision that it needed to gain ISO9001/NSI Guarding Gold recognition to keep in line with its competitors. To assist the business achieve this aim, they employed the skills of a professional consultant who was conversant with designing and implementing a QMS (Quality Management System) in line with NSI Guarding Gold requirements.

Part of my role as Operations Manager was to assist the consultant set up, implement and monitor the company’s QMS and then take on the role of company QMR (Quality Management Representative) that incorporated; monitoring the company’s activities against the QMS and incorporated standards; carrying out internal audits to ensure compliance against the standards, attend external quality audits, update the quality systems when required and deliver quality meetings to senior directors of the business.
